Sarah with the book cake and geologist Gene Shinn at Murder by the Book.
Murder by the Book, a wonderful mystery bookstore in Denver, always serves a cake with the cover of the book on it, in this case Bone Hunter (1999).
Sarah and other geologists were in town for a convention of the Geological Society of America, and the bookstore hosted a great party.
